OUR MISSION
The Hillsburgh-Erin Skating Club's mission is to provide professional skating instruction for all of its members in all areas and levels of skating within a safe learning environment and in conjunction with the rules and regulations of Skate Canada.
Our objectives are to provide an enjoyable and safe program, to develop balance, coordination and rhythm through use of music, to teach the correct technique for skating, to provide incentives for beginners, and to provide physical fitness. Once a skater is able to perform all of the skills on a badge to the required standard a badge is awarded. These skills are assessed by the Professional Coach on a day to day basis.
WHO ARE WE?
We are the Board of Directors, a group of hardworking and dedicated volunteer parents and members of the community. We're here to answer all of your questions and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Feel free to ask anything when you see us at the rink.
